Scarlett Johansson sues Disney over streaming release of ‘Black Widow’

Scarlett Johansson has filed a lawsuit against Disney’s Marvel Entertainment for breach of contract, saying the studio’s decision to release her movie “Black Widow” on streaming at same time it came out in theaters prevented her from getting the full potential revenue promised under her agreement.

A representative for Johansson told The Wall Street Journal that the simultaneous release on streaming could cost the star more than $50 million.
