Port Canaveral finalizes agreements to restart cruises, said report

Port Canaveral may be closer to getting cruises restarted after a year without a single voyage.

The sea hub reportedly has “finalized” three agreements with cruise lines that must be submitted to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention prior to a cruise line seeking to kickstart trial cruises — a necessary step from the CDC to allow cruises to restart, said a WFTV report.

It’s one of two possible routes to get back to voyages, the other being to have 98% of crew and 95% of guests vaccinated.…
