Florida sees massive drop in unemployment claims to start February

Florida had a massive drop in unemployment claims to end the first full week of February.

The Sunshine State had 17,621 first-time claims for the week ending Feb. 6, according to data from the U.S. Department of Labor. That is a drop of 51,519 from the previous week’s 69,140.
