Florida continues to see drop in unemployment claims

Florida saw another drop in its first-time unemployment claims for the final week of February.

The Sunshine State saw 15,903 first-time unemployment claims for the week ending Feb. 27, down 14.64% from the previous week’s total of 18,630, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. That continues the state’s trend of decreasing weekly claims for the month of February.
