Carnival Cruise Line cancels U.S. sailings through June, eyes international ports

Carnival Cruise Line once again has delayed its return to U.S. ports, this time through June 30.

The largest of Doral-based Carnival Corp.’s (NYSE: CCL) nine travel brands, Carnival Cruise Line on April 6 notified its customers of the canceled trips and offered full refunds or future cruise credits.

Carnival is one of the primary cruise operators out of Port Canaveral, which has seen much of its cruise business completely halted. Cruise traffic represents 80% of Port Canaveral’s business.
